How to Automate Snapshot Backup and Restore Using Oracle Analytics Cloud REST APIs
Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) REST APIs allow for automating snapshot management, including creating and restoring BAR files for backups. Automating these tasks ensures data consistency, quick recovery, and minimal manual intervention. This guide provides high-level steps to automate these tasks using REST API scripts.
Advantages of Automating Snapshot Management:
✔ Efficient Backup & Recovery – Reduces manual effort and ensures quick restoration in case of failures
✔ Improved Data Integrity – Ensures consistent snapshots with minimal risk of data loss
✔ Scheduled Automation – Enables routine backups without manual intervention
✔ Secure Storage & Retrieval – Facilitates easy storage and retrieval of snapshots for compliance and auditing

@Sumanth V -Oracle am following steps as is, to create the snapshot by using REST API . We are getting "errors":[{"code":"InternalServerError","message":"Failed to create new Snapshot"}.
Its running for 6 mnts then sending above failed message. Our goal is to create the snapshot and push into object storage bucket using REST API. Manually we are able to do same. Please help us on this.

@User_HJE44 - Please create a service request using Oracle Support, so that it can be investigated further. It needs few details and SR would be the right approach.
