1. Which dataset did you use?

Have used shared Spend Transactions and prepared the visualizations.
The dataset includes:• Spend Summary - summarized version of Tiles/ Tables and Donut views• Spend Details - Details on Unit Price / Supplier details.• Spend Average - Average Spend calculations

2. How did you analyze or prepare the data?

Analysis Techniques in OAC DV :Once the dataset was prepared, I applied OAC functionality to build the dashboard. Filtering & Aggregation: Applied filters to analyse data by supplier, category, and agreement status (on-contract vs. off-contract).

AI-Driven Insights: Leveraged OAC’s Explain feature to identify key drivers behind spend trends, and Auto Insights to detect patterns in supplier spending. Visualization Techniques: Table views , Donut graphs, Line - bar charts, trend graphs to visualize cost-saving opportunities and tail spend.


3. Who is the intended audience for your visualization?

The visualization is intended for:
• Business analysts• Procurement and Spend Team• Oracle Analytics learners• Technology decision makers
The dashboard demonstrates how Oracle Analytics Cloud can be used to analyze ERP adoption trends using interactive visualizations.


4. What is your visualization about, and what question or problem does it address?
1. Spend Volume and Analysis Total Spend: The total amount spent across all purchasing categories within a specific period (e.g., month, quarter).Spend by Category:

Spend by Department: Highlights which departments are responsible for the highest expenditures.

2. Transaction and Vendor Management Invoice Count: The total number of unique invoices processed. This helps track workload and transaction volume. Top Suppliers by Spend: Identifies the top suppliers in terms of total expenditure, which is crucial for contract negotiation
This visualization demonstrates how Oracle Analytics Cloud enables rapid insight generation from structured datasets.


5. Did you use any Oracle Analytics AI features when building your visualization?

Oracle Analytics built-in insight capabilities were used to understand data distribution patterns and validate visualizations.


6. Did you upload your visualization image and DVA file?

Yes. The visualization image has been uploaded as part of the submission.

The dashboard was developed using Oracle Analytics Data Visualization (DVA) and AI Assistant features with capabilities and the required files have been included.

DVA File: Simple visualization with much interacting data for easy understanding and explaining in a better way.
