Element entry name filter removing employees without element entry in OTBI

Hi All,

Trying to have a single OTBI report including subject areas Worker real time and element entries real time. When we add filter for element name, it will remove employees without element entries. Tried adding an Or condition to include employees with element name is null. Still not picking employees without element entries. How to achieve this requirement? Thanks in advance.

The issue you're encountering is likely expected behavior. When combining multiple subject areas (SAs), an inner join is typically used, which results in excluding records from one subject area if they don't have matching data in the other.

A potential workaround would be to use the Logical SQL approach. Here’s what you can try:

* First Data Set: It include all employees with their associated details.
* Second Data Set: It include only those employees who have specific Element Entries.

Then, you can perform an outer join between the two data sets based on a primary key, such as Assignment ID or Person ID and select the necessary columns for your final report.
