Hi all I am trying to achieve two things in OTBI using GL Balances and GL Journals Subject Areas. I am struggling on both counts so could use some advice please? I am guessing the answer is the same or similar to both so posting together rather than separately. * I am trying to get an action link that drills from an analysis with multiple levels of the CoA Hierarchy to a separate analysis based on GJ Journal Details. As GL Journal Details only has the tree and detail levels, the context is not being carried through for the CoA segments but is being correctly carried through for other items such as fiscal period. * I am trying to get the GL Journal Details analysis to be filtered by and be able to return any level of the CoA hierarchies. I have tried linking the GL Balances subject area but get an error that the facts aren't at the correct level when adding in the additional levels. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, or if someone could share a catalog file of examples of this working it would be amazing. Thanks Dan

Hi all

@Daniel Ryan , I am not sure if it really possible by OTBI because the seeded General Ledger - Journal Details Real Time subject area does not expose the complete CoA hierarchy. You might be able to do using BIP but it might be a complex.

Another option could be FDI, I see Oracle recently delivered this functionality as per following post
