OAS presentation variable upper filter

HI, i am putting this one presentation variable and using converting this filter to SQL.

It's on the dashboard and if I click on Analyze link, it doesn't transfer the upper variable to the actual query.

Any idea to go to the actual filter look with filter filled?

I am trying to make the query case sensitive free and make user to go right into searched item clicking Analyze.

@Tony_OAS_Apex_User, have you considered using a hidden calculated column like

UPPER("Item Name") Alias: ITEM_NAME_UPPER then use it in filter. Not sure if it helps!
