I would like to add a pop up message box each time a user opens a workbook. There could be a checkbox in this pop up that the user can click to prevent this pop up each time the user opens the report.
User_ABHJ6 Can you please provide your use case?
have you looked at the workbook SDK. I believe, it allows you to invoke customer Javascript on open. This would allow you to invoke a popup of your design.
The scenario that I was looking for at the time would be to have the following in the pop up box: "Welcome to your new workbook! Click here to see a tuorial on how to get the insights you need. Click here to find out more about this report or to contact support
☐ Check this box to prevent this pop up appearing in future." I'm sure there are plenty other use cases for a pop up box.
