Enhancement request
Enable shared filter selections and saved states across all eight tabs of The Pulse – Ticket OAC report/dashboard. Filters selected on Opened Tickets should automatically apply to the other seven tabs, wherever the corresponding filter is supported.
Current limitation
Users must reapply their filter selections when moving between tabs. This adds repetitive work and creates a risk of comparing metrics or exporting data using inconsistent criteria.
Requested behavior
- Maintain a shared set of filter selections across the report/dashboard, including applicable organizational, ownership, assignee, and date filters.
- Apply changes made on any tab to the corresponding filters on all other tabs.
- Preserve those selections when navigating between tabs.
- Save and restore shared filter selections through Manage States. Opening the dashboard with a default saved state should apply its shared filters across all tabs.
- Preserve tab-specific filters separately. If a shared filter does not apply to a tab, retain its selection for use on applicable tabs.
- Ensure export tabs use the same applicable shared filters as the reporting tabs.
Acceptance criteria
- A user selects filters on Opened Tickets, navigates to each of the other seven tabs, and sees the same applicable selections without reentering them.
- Updating a shared filter on another tab carries that change back to Opened Tickets and all other applicable tabs.
- Saving and reopening a state restores the shared filter selections across the dashboard.
- Selecting a default saved state applies those shared selections when the dashboard is reopened.
- Resetting shared filters returns them to the dashboard defaults across all tabs.
Business value
Reduce repetitive filtering, improve consistency across ticket metrics and exports, and allow users to save a reusable dashboard view for their team or area of responsibility.
