Migrated RPD from obiee12c to OAS 2024. post migration when we try to access dashboards on OAS we are getting below error:

State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. (HY000)
State: HY000. Code: 43275. [nQSError: 43275] Message returned from OBIS [ecid:9c88c242-7658-45f2-b155-c463620e5bf3-000002c3,0:1:111:6 ts:2026-10-26T18:21:23.919+00:00]. (HY000)
State: HY000. Code: 43119. [nQSError: 43119] Query Failed: libclntshcore.so.19.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (HY000)
State: HY000. Code: 46029. [nQSError: 46029] Failed to load the DLL /<MW_HOME>/bi/bifoundation/server/bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g64.so. Check if 'Oracle OCI 10G' database client is installed. (HY000)

server restart was successful without any issues..

this was the PATH set in setDomainenv.sh
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/MW_HOME/bi/bifoundation/web/bin:/MW_HOME/bi/lib:/MW_HOME/bi/dbclient/19.15:/MW_HOME/bi/dbclient/19.15/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Are you able to see the library in the path mentioned? If it is present is the correct permissions given to the user who installed OAS?

Also check in obis.out file if there is any reference to old ORACLE_HOME present.

I dont think LD_LIBRARY_PATH should be set in setDomainenv.sh

OAS 2024 is older but I dont remember ever having it set in setDomainenv.sh

Go into $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/obis1/logs/

open: obis1.out

Go to the line containing:

<Nov 4, 2026 12:26:56 ….. <Final properties set for OBIS

Then in the section below that it will show what it reconciles for LD_LIBRARY_PATH:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=…./oracle/product/fmw14c26/bi/dbclient/23.9:…..

My example above is OAS 2026, hence dbclient/23.9

Does the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in yours show a dbclient path?

while you can keep trying to fix the issue, keep in mind that OAS 2024 is out of support already. Currently only OAS 2026 and OAS 2025 (still for ~5 months).

If you have issues with libraries and clients etc., and assuming that your OAS 2024 was correctly installed (did you try it fully before to import your content from OBIEE 12c?), you should review your upgrade process I would say.

More in general, when an analysis fails with .so files listed in errors, you should check My Oracle Support or open a SR, because you usually don't find the root cause in any log file.
