OBIEE 12c Unable to Retrieve Users in EM when Virtualize is Set to True

Question

Anyone else facing the same issue?

I have set up external ldap and have set the virtualize=true flag in EM. However, I am only able to retrieve the AD GROUPS, but not the AD Users within those groups.

When attempting to authenticate, it says that the user is not found in the identity store.

Please help!

Check Base DN , Group DN configuration.

Hello,

As long as the users are not available on weblogic under "Users and Groups", they wont be able to authenticate against LDAP

Please check with your AD Admin on the user base DN and the other parameters related to users you configured under "Security Realm" for LDAP.
