Is it possible to turn off the offline/local save capabilities of the OBI HD app?
Is there any security or encryption used for dashboard and reports that are saved to the mobile device?
Please direct me to any existing documentation on this subject

Hi,
What version of OBIEE are you using? Disabling the ability to save locally can be done from Administration->Manage Privileges from the desktop version. Here is some information for 11.1.1.7 version.
