I am struggling understanding exactly what you are saying your problem is.
Can you kindly clarify are you talking about dashboard prompts?
Can you give the exact sequence of events with navigation path to describe exaactly what you are doing, and what happens when you do it?

Hi,
Maybe what you are looking for is the "Apply" button which sometimes can be hidden.
In cases when the Apply button is hidden then the prompts are automatically enabled after the selection.
e.g. If all set correctly your report will be filtered for 'Austria' just after you select 'Austria' in your prompt. no further click is needed.
If you click on Reset, then the dashboard page will be filtered for the original set of prompts.

Hi,
my requirement is that i have some columns in prompt and there we have written sql query so its sql based prompt and also in our prompt there are some columns which are directly coming from subject area and that columns are limited by some other column. so what happen is when i select any value say for ex year ='2016' from prompt and click on apply button it shows me the results after if i select any other value say for ex. year ='2017' from prompt and click on reset to last applied values its not resetting to last applied value i.e, year ='2016' instead its staying on the year ='2017'.please let me know about the same.

You don't say if '2016' is a valid value (does it exist in the underlying data set of the subject area you are filtering?)
You also don't say if you only have one dashboard prompt and if so is the 'limited by some other column' on the same dashboard prompt as the value that it is being limited by?
Also if it is on the same dashboard prompt as the value it is being limited by, what value does that revert to AND does 2016 validly exist with whatever that selection is?
i.e. If your quarter last applied value is say 2017 Q1 then because of your 'limited by value of quarter' the year could not be anything other than '2017'

Hi @3167974
What you are clicking on is Reset to last applied values -> in your case if you APPLIED 2017 it will of course bring back 2017 -> this actions basically "deletes" all changes made on the prompt but not APPLIED.
What you're looking for is Reset to default values option
