Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) facilitates data virtualization through the Semantic Model. By enabling users to construct a comprehensive business model, OAC acts as a unified source of truth that seamlessly connects to diverse data sources. This empowers organizations to manage distributed data analysis, conduct queries across heterogeneous data sources, and federate the results into virtual views, all while avoiding the need for physical data movement and storage. The Semantic Model thus plays a pivotal role in simplifying querying logic and providing a layer of abstraction above the physical implementation of data, fostering a robust and agile data virtualization framework within Oracle Analytics.
