I do not believe this is possible. What users an object is allowed to see can be controlled through roles. But If the user has access to an object, not, making it available on the home page cannot be controlled at an org level through admin rights.

Thanks for the responses Aiswarya and Joshua.

Hi Jahnavi, I do not believe that is possible. Based on the roles assigned to the user they will be able to view certain objects, or, not. But if the user has access to the object, and, still you want it not to come up by default on the home page, that is not feasible.

Hi Subhakara, I had tried this. if we set reportmode=presentation the action links do not work. If i set it to full, then it brings in the grammar pane as well, which is not what we want. Do let me know if there are any other options I can try. Regards, Amrita.

Hi, Have you tried archiving the metadata folder from the source environment, and, then un-archiving it into the folder - "System Folders" of the target environment?
-
Thanks Alok, will test this approach.

Hi Subhakara, Thanks for your response. The images are of invoices. Therefore, since the number of invoices are very large, the number of images are also very high in number. Based on the invoice number, the image should be displayed, by clicking on a link available in a detail report. Yes, CLOB/BLOB is not supported in…

Hi Sahithi, From the Joins manager, you can view all the physical joins - like below. However, if you are looking to export and document, not sure if that's feasible.

Hi Mahgoub, Could you elaborate a bit more on your query. Do you want to know how to prepare the layout, or, how/where to perform the calculations?
-
Hi Chris, I do not believe it is possible to hide column within the visualizations itself. Columns can be hidden within the dataset(by going to the Prepare tab). But that will not serve the purpose you are looking for. You can propose this as an idea.
-
Yes, thats right. The conditional formatting would need to be done in the tile itself, where in you can set colours, but, not icons.

Hi, Have you tried deleting the column from the data set, like below? To get to this page, open your Data Set to Edit it. You can then, remove the column from the .xlsx/.csv file and uploading it again.

Hi Danh, The below option is available within DV to add images. This can be resized and placed next to any other visualization.

Could you try without the slash at the end, like below - BEGIN XX_MYBAS_INITIALIZE.INITIALIZE; END;

Hi Joshua, One way to drill up is making use of the Preferred Drill Path in the logical level of the hierarchy, where in you select the immediate level above the selected level as the drill path. The below blog provides an example of the same - http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2009/02/obiee-simulating-drill-up.html Regards,…

Hi Siddharth, We had raised a similar query with support. And according to them, in OAC, oracle managed customers are not provisioned with server access. Therefore, you will not have the server metrics availability . But for customer planning , the below document can be used as a guide, on the thresholds that each OCPU can…

Current option is not easy to use. It would be a useful addition.
