There are no current plans to connect OAC to on-prem EPM, the focus is on EPM Cloud (including both EPBCS and FCCS). Connectivity to on-prem EPM is possible with OAS, in addition, OAC can access OAS/OBIEE subject areas that include HFM and create data set directly from it.

This will be addressed via the planned JDBC support.

Existing SQL Server connector is compatible with Azure SQL Server. 

EPM Cloud connectivity is already available via RPD, we are working with the EPM team on direct connectivity from DV. 

NLP already works on Subject Areas. Given that those are enterprise sources, the activation of the index is done by an admin (it is active by default) and not by the user.
