This feature is actively being worked on and is coming soon. You will be able to create "RULES" that will control color/font/styles or any visualizations. rules can be simple like " Make yellow if actual > 5 " , they can also refer to other Measures like " Make Red if Actual > Budget " or even " Make actual red if acutal…

This is being worked on and should be coming later this year after the release of our 'Multi Table Dataset feature' which is right around the corner. J

by framerwork i mean that these color coding rules 'of sorts' can also do things other than color cells/bars... it can also change font styles and size in the first release, but eventually the goal is that these same rules will send you notifications or trigger actions. So although for the initial release it is limited to…

Do you envision just a sparkline or a larger chart in a tooltip ? If so, what are the minimum dimensions you would expect ? Any thoughts how you would like that to work/render on mobile ? J
-
Haha , I wasn't even close ;) I guess there is more than one way to color a cell !!!!. The good news is that the framework can do what you describe ... Stay tuned !

we are currently working on a Conditional Formatting framework that would allow you to define rules that would format ( Color, Font , Text, Text Style ) based on expressions/ranges/values. I'm curious about your very specific use case ? Looking at the table above I do have some questions as to the rules in play. it looks…

Out of curiosity , what would you expect the mobile app to follow... if a user's phone is Spanish, but you set the global to English what would you expect the mobile app to do ?

Anyone have thoughts on how they expect/would like this to render in Mobile ?

have you tried the existing Slack share option ? How would you change it to better suit your usecase ? J PS: If you don't see the option , contact the system administrator to enable it .

Hello , a couple of follow up questions on this use case : 1) Would you expect the 'team/channel' to receive a URL , Image or PDF of the dashboard or ( report ) ? 2) do you worry that a member of the Channel may not have access to the BI Server and therefore the pdf/image might contain info they are not approved to see ?…

A similar customer use case includes a confidential notice with Dynamic Text ... ( Snapshot grabbed from public url https://ida.ussc.gov/ ).

Do you have any thoughts on how you would like to enable this interaction on a phone ?
-
My apologies... I didn't notice you were on OAS and not OAC... Some features such as these that require cloud to cloud integration features are not available on OAS.
-
By the way , that same area let's you configure OAC to share to Slack , twitter and LinkedIn

Something like this ? this is already available in OAC . I believe it was available in 5.5 as well. You need to make sure your administrator has setup the email server in the Administration console. This may explain why you aren't seeing the option. Cheers Jacques

Interesting idea. Do you have any thoughts how you would like to see that in mobile on a phone ?

This will be possible with the new conditional formatting feature(s) that are actively being developed . You will be able to setup rules ( simple to complex ) that will affect the color/font/style of data elements in any Viz.
