Hi @3310714 Managing Objects in the Oracle BI Presentation Catalog This should show you how to set up full text search - D User Interface Reference

Hi Santosh I edited my previous reply above.

You'll need to restart all instances of the Oracle BI Server only. Then you need is to use the Reload Files and Metadata link from the Presentation Services Administration page for your Rpd metadata changes to become available after being uploaded with the scripts. Using Online and Offline Repository Modes

Download Repository Command

As @rmoff said, all you need is to ensure that you install into a different area on your server, use different ports for OBIEE components and use different RCU DB schemas and you should be OK.

@Andrew Fomin. & @Christian Berg have pretty much said it all. Passing an exam doesn't make you an expert. There's no shortcut unfortunately and you'll only gain an in depth understanding of the tool by using it regularly. I'd suggest as a starting point to get the sample app VM installed and play around with that.

A very vague question. Could you be a bit more specific in what it is that you actually want to find out about the certification? have you taken a look at this As a starting point?

Alternatively, you could try this "hack" As it says, you'll have to set up some kind of script which will trawl through your catalog to make this change periodically so that new user start page is changed to value you want to set. As @Christian Bergsaid, if this setting is subsequently changed by a user, that setting will…

Yes. That appears to be the correct behaviour. Users will have to set their dashboard to default for this setting to apply - https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/ui/km/DocumentDisplay.jspx?_afrLoop=11097444660643&id=1142574.1&_afrWindowMode=0&…

Does the PORTALPATH variable return the right value though? Can you check for a couple of users if the variable returns the right value?

Hi @user13001889 I'm not sure if the instructions that @Gianni Ceresagave you are the same, but this describes in detail how to create a custom style In OBIEE 12c.

Have you done this? OBIEE 11g Changing the Default Dashboard : Total Business Intelligence

Hardware is just one aspect of the complex jigsaw puzzle. You also need to take into account your network, any latency, network traffic etc. Look ok at this as well - https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23104_01/sysreqs1221/sysrs.htm

Hi @mlov83 as @Christian Berg asked, have you pulled out the query from the nqquery.log file? That would be the first place to look and determine if the BI Server is generating the right SQL. If not, it could be an issue with your rpd model.
-
Hi @2773333 2 things. The error indicates that the BI Server is down. Could you provide the errors logged in the NQServer.log file. Secondly, what is the status of the OPMN components when you check on the server using the opmnctl status command?

Take a look at this Oracle Article.

You'll need to do something along these lines to modify the XML to apply the formatting to a specific grand total cell.
-
Quick way to do this would to be format the colour of the other total to blend into background as I don't believe you have that level of control on totals.
