You will not be able to update/edit the seeded values/logic coming from a subject area. Either you can create your custom BIP or check if there is any other column in the subject area that can give you the value you are looking for. Thanks.

Did the SR consultant advise why this is so? Or if there is any documentation support for this? Does it mean that that the custom SA's will always have a low performance? Thanks.

Hi Mani, There is no OOTB the way to achieve this in data model level. You may try to use requisition IDs and candidate IDs instead of numbers. Thanks.

Hi KDR, Yes, it is possible to embedded date timestamp in file name when transferring the file to SFTP but not possible when delivering the file to email. You can check the details on below link: Dynamic Output and Bursting for BI Report Thanks.

With more and more customers using FDI/OAC and OCI, this is increasingly becoming a must feature to have in fusion BIP.

As this is currently not supported, an idea is submitted for same: Ability to store output BI Publisher to object storage on OCI — Oracle Analytics Please evaluate and upvote the idea. Based on the number of upvotes, Oracle will consider implementing the idea. As of now no timeline is available. Thanks.

Please check the query given below link: Query to find BIP report schedule details — Cloud Customer Connect Thanks.

You can use SQL results and write a simple custom SQL to give you the desired results based on user. Check a similar example on below thread: OTBI Dashboard prompt default — Cloud Customer Connect Thanks.

Hi Ali, This forum is specific to Oracle analytics. Please post your queries related to other items on customer connect. General Ledger & Intercompany — Cloud Customer Connect Also, there is no option to migrate custom web ADIs to Fusion directly. Thanks.

I don't think there is any other option available yet. You may want to submit an idea for this. This will be considered as enhancement from Oracle product team based on the number of upvotes. But there is no timeline when your idea (once submitted) will get implemented. Thanks.

Great enhancement to the product functionality. Link of the video tutorial for reference: Excel multi-sheet upload in Oracle Analytics Thanks.

There is no OOTB the way to achieve it yet but you can use a workaround as mentioned on below post: Is there a way users can save custom parameter selections on BI Publisher reports? — Oracle Analytics Thanks.
-
Hi @C. Joseph , Thanks for the idea. Can you please provide an example or a use case? Thanks.

There is a similar idea already logged for agent failure notification: Agent Tracking/Reporting/Log in OTBI — Oracle Analytics Please evaluate and upvote. Thanks.

Are you able to see any difference for this attribute from other attributes in the DFF setup? if possible, can you share a screen shot for this DFF setup? Thanks.
-
It could be due to the volume of data. The user running the OTBI may have access to much more data compared to your user and that's why this issue? Can you add some filters and then ask the user to test? Also, to improve performance, you can add a hint as explained in below MOS note OTBI Performance Issue on Payables…

Can you copy the report and data model in my folders and try there? Also, I would suggest you to raise an Oracle SR in the meantime. Thanks.
-
can you share the sample XML as well? Thanks.

Upvoted. It will help enhancing user experience. Thanks.

Hi Mark, Is this in OTBI Usage Track subject area or FDI? If it is OTBI, then I don;t think you can hide the attribute from a user having access to create analysis from this SA. Hi @Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle , Hope you are doing well. Can you please advise? Thanks.
