Hello Daniele, I will not be able to help you achieve OAuth authentication. If anyone else here can provide guidance on how to accomplish OAuth, i will really appreciate it! --- Not long ago, I tried to understand how to obtain an access token programmatically, (to improve my authentication method), following the same…

Hello @Michal Zima , Hope you are doing well. This is only to confirm (at least one of) the methods you mention do seem to work in OAC. I am using the "iBot" service/executeIBotNow method (3.4.3 on that documentation) to launch Agents when our nightly ETL process has finished refreshing our data warehouse. Kind regards,…

True for *Table* visualization, but if I choose a Bar graph, then the Display Header cannot be renamed. Since the original post mentions "in Table visual", i suppose i will need to start a new idea for that. Regards.

To Oracle, Please consider the above idea implicitly includes the ability to reuse calculations on other workbooks. Thanks, Marcelo Finkielsztein

Yes. I am running this in OAC.

@PeregoD Hello PeregoD, I have been able to develop a Web Service Client that launches OAC agents using a command line. I have been using it successfully for years. Oracle documentation is here: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/bi.1111/e16364/part_page_2.htm The solution requires some programming knowledge; I can…

Hello everyone, I realize this is environment is only meant for discussion of new ideas, not support; so my apologies. But… this week i have been trying to implement a REST API to automate snapshots and I can’t understand the instructions. At the moment I am stuck at creating a “confidential application”. And i am waiting…

* connecting a workbook to another dataset would help me switch between TEST data and PROD data. * a cross reference showing dependencies between datasets and workbooks would help me maintain a cleaner catalog.

As said on another idea asking for this, even without the touch-screen use case and justification, IMHO the Help-About screen should show version number in clear text. IMHO, it is an industry standard.

@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle I am sorry, I fail to find any mentions to sharing data flows with other users on the referred roadmap page: https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/cloud-and-server-roadmap.html I am aware you said there were no details for each feature; sorry to insist with this: is there a way…

@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle , hello. thank you. Afaik i had already voted on Sep 14 2021. is there a way for us customers to read the roadmap with dates (ETA) for each feature? thank you.
-
@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle please consider responding my question from March 24th: Does the roadmap include ability to save data flows into folders and subfolders? (as opposed to one big unique bucket) Thanks, Marcelo

@Gabby Rubin-Oracle options: * generate the thumbnail as a background activity, without slowing down the user interface. * trust users will understand why some projects have thumnbnails and some other do not. * allow users to upload a thumbnail of their choice, if they care for thumbnails * let administrators decide if the…

@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle , Hello, any feedback on this? thanks.

That would help! these features make our users ask us to export analyses to excel. We strive and struggle to have them use OAC instead, but without much success.

Agree. Hopefully, Oracle fixes the problem.
