OTBI is ideal for our less technical users, and BIP is for our more technical users. LSQL is in between but leans toward the more technical users and can push off the less technical users. Would be nice to make it more user friendly for our less technical users.

Loved this when we had it in BOR - please please please

It is interesting how much this is missed ... I frequently get users asking me who it was sent to because that list is gone.
-
This would be amazing!

This is a great callout for those that do not realize they are clicking/dragging. Also, the warning would be good to call out that links may be broken and need to be fixed.
-
This would be so nice!!!

I am notified by our users when they do not get our reports - this is an unnecessary conversation if we had our own notifications.

While I understand that @invalidemail.com is whitelisted for us, we are pushing to our employees to watch for phishing and many times they assume that this is what it is and then delete the report. It would be helpful to set the FROM to be a valid email that users can reply to if need be!!

This would be extremely helpful!

Yes please - this was so very helpful in BOR!

Anil - Thank you for the query! OK, so when I create two datasets (one using the audit area and one using the HCM area), when I join them together, the report just never works. So maybe I am doing something wrong? AuditViewDB SELECT IAU_RESOURCE ,IAU_INITIATOR FROM BIPUBLISHER_V ApplicationDB_HCM SELECT DISTINCT…

Thank you Noelle - this document is actually what drove the question. When I use these reports, there is no name listed for the user columns. For us, the user name is your person number. I want to combine the person number with another field to display the person name. We dumped the tables that sit within these queries and…

Thank you for this! Is there any way to do this within the DM though? I understand how to create another report to show this information, but they want the data on the back-end to prove that what the DM is running is what should be on the report itself.

HA! Sometimes I love my Outlook ... it reformatted your response to this:

Hi Robert - I didn't use a template, I just used the base report creation option that comes up when you are creating a new report. So in the DM, I click Create Report and then on that first screen, I choose Use Report Editor because I prefer to design it myself. When the report editor opens, I insert a Pivot Table and then…

This is awesome - thank you for this!

I have never been able to do anything like that - however when I am building reports, I usually work right to left. So if I am build a report that has 15 columns, I drag in column 15, then 14, then 13, etc. This way, I am not starting with 1, then 2, then scrolling over to add 3, then scrolling over to add 4, etc.…

Jonathan - when I tested this, it was moons ago, so this may not be the best/right solution ... but I did it by putting the BIP in a dashboard and then the Infolet had the link to the dashboard. It's been far too long since I've done it, so that's the best my memory can give you, but it might be a good starting point?…

Hi - when I pull a regular table in, it doesn't sum the salary together by the cost centers (like in my screenshot) unless I modify the code to do a GROUP BY. Also, the options you provided me sound like a navigation for OTBI, but this report is in BIP. Is this possible to do in BIP? I did a workaround of concatenating the…

Hi - did you receive follow-up from Oracle on this? I am currently having an issue where users are receiving a report that I cannot find in any folders, so anticipate that it is in someone's My Folders. I submitted an SR but am told they cannot access My Folders. I am hoping you got a report, so I can push back to them…
