Hi Rico, +/- 30 minutes to start OBIEE 12c service is unacceptable. In general it should take 3 to 5 minutes to start the OBIEE service. As mentioned by Gianni, check the entropy setting in the linux server. I believe the slow start is mainly due to wait for the new entropy getting generated. And this could solve your…

Hi, Hope your configuration in BIP Publihser, Manage BI Publisher, Delivery, FTP is successful. Did you check the option Use Passive Mode to true? If not please chek this option and try to see whether you are able to generate the files in the FTP location. Best regards, Rajesh Dhanapal.
