For OBI 12c, You can grep/search check your presentation server logs to determine what is configured. In, OAC, you can follow this document How To Configure PORTALPATH In Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) To Set The Default Dashboard Or Landing Page KB61335 The screenshots are out of date, but the steps are valid. You do not…

Hi, I may have misread your question about setting it in OAC In OBI, it can be set with a Session Variable (Initialization Block), and can be overridden by a user in the My Account Preferences. So you may want to check the repository (RPD) in OBI

I realized that the roles were overwritten — the roles from the OAS 2025 installation were deleted, and the ones from OBIEE were imported. After that, I was no longer able to log in with the WebLogic user. Is this normal? What should be done in this situation? When you upgrade your system to Oracle Analytics Server, Oracle…

To add, there is also a Catalog Manager command-line interface (CLI) that you can excecute from a client tools installation. runcat.sh -cmd setOwnership -help

Hi @User_7DAHQ (Rod), Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community! This thread is an Idea request (enhancement), for new questions/posts, it would be better to post in the forum here: https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/oac-oas

There is some conflict since Oracle Analytics Server is already installed, or some issue with your automation calls. If the command runs successfully manually, then there is no issue with the product. If it fails from/with/during automation, then you need to look there. The error above is a java usage error, and it is not…

To add, the size of the exported Analysis matters for the computational process (rows x columns). Additionally, the load on the system based on your OAC size. This is documented here: Limits Exporting Data (Classic Analyses and Dashboards)

@User_K47BL This option was removed from the Console in OAS 2025. It was available in OAS 2024 and earlier releases. We will have the documentation updated to reflect that product change.

Hi, It looks like it is an issue with the java call on your Windows laptop/pc. You may want to check to see what Java is installed, and check which java is in your PATH and JAVA_HOME environment variables. You can also install the client tools once using the UI to check things before using a silent install on another…

Hi @User_CAIGP Dashboardgroupfolders are commonly used for organising Dashboards and Workbooks. Dashboards and Workbooks from this folder (provided the dashboardgroupfolder is created inside first level child of shared folders) are listed in "Navigation Menu" on DV UI home page. It is similar to Dashboard Menu on Classic…

There are helpful examples in the Gallery for what you can achieve. Here is one with tiles that is similar to your mock up example. https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/discussion/25834/us-sales-dashboard-webinar-june-4-2025

To add, potentially selection steps feature may help with your use case.

Hi Sherry, Some high-level information to get started. The official documentation would have you migration your content (via snapshots) between environments initially, then there are other methods such as catalog archive/unarchive for "finer-grain" movements to update catalogs About Snapshots Now, how you decide to perform…

Hi Ana-Maria, For a start, here is an older, but still valid blog that can help troubleshoot. https://oracledataviz.blogspot.com/2020/03/a-trick-to-know-whats-happening-when.html For OAS, you can also collect Collect Diagnostic Bundles to review the logs, or provide to Support. If the query is long-running, it is possible…
