Thanks Gianni, Joel, Chris. Sorry my fault, i meant to ask if there are additional config/setting changes need to be done in RPD or front end to connect to OLTP sources like EBS, Siebel versus an Oracle or Teradata or some other relational data warehouse.

It is a simple column which i have added to an existing MS SQL Server stored procedure. FYI the original stored proc definition's select statement do not contain this column but one of the tables in the same database has this column. I added this column in the RPD physical layer.…

Could not find any doc on support site explicitly for OBIEE 12c versions, every article says "applies for OBIEE 11.1.1.X or later" versions.

Hi Gianni, I found a doc on Oracle support (doc ID 1368858.1) , ( it says for OBIEE 11.1.1.5 and later versions), in that they mentioned to set environment variables in "bi-init.cmd" and "opmn.xml" files ---- these are not present in OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 then if that don't work, they suggested to set environment variables…

Asking abt performance because Oracle says Opaque views should be the last option and complex sql need to be generated to retrieve data using them.

Hi Gianni, the team just want to use that server as kind of sandbox and to ensure all BI developers use the same version of tool avoiding compatibility issues down the line. (instead of each developer installing client on his local) the developers just login to that server and work using that client tool. Thanks.
