Terminate Subline in Contract

Hi All,

Can you please advice how can we terminate the subline against one of the Contract. Tried to terminate via tools menu however getting the error "The operation is not allowed for the contract/line - 1.9 in its current status. Please advice what we can do here?

Attached is the error screen shot of the same.

End user requested to terminate subline 1.9 for the total period and requsted to send the credit memo.

Please advice at the earliert.
