Eloqua Product Notice: Move to OCI - Apps and new public IP Addresses

Overview
In preparation for Eloqua's Move to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), some Eloqua IP Address changes are being made. As such, customers/partners who have built and are hosting apps for use with Eloqua may need to update their firewall rules so that it will allow incoming traffic from new public IP Addresses. If you fail to do so, the inbound call from your app will fail as your firewall will block the new public IP Address as of the Move to OCI maintenance window date for your Eloqua POD.
What’s changing?
If you have built and are hosting an app for use with Eloqua, you will need to work with your IT department to ensure that your corporate firewall will allow access to the following new public IP Address.
- POD 7: Please update to the new Public IP address for POD 7: 192.29.148.186. Alternatively, you can have them update your firewall rules to allow traffic from secure.p07.eloqua.com and it will update itself automatically.
- POD 6: Please update to the new Public IP address for POD 6: 192.29.193.253
or Alternatively, you can have them update your firewall rules to allow traffic from
secure.p06.eloqua.com and it will update itself automatically. Action needs to be completed prior to October 22, 2021.
Note: As we move through the Move to OCI timelines, additional new Public IP Addresses will be provided (per POD). If you're unsure which POD your Eloqua environment is located within, you can find out here: https://community.oracle.com/topliners/discussion/4470225/determining-your-pod-number-for-oracle-eloqua .
Timeline
- POD 7: You will need to ensure this change is completed prior to Oct 16, 2020.
- POD 6: You will need to ensure this change is completed prior to Oct 22, 2021.
- Note: As we move through the Move to OCI timelines, additional new Public IP Addresses will be provided (per POD) and will need to be updated before the move has been completed.
Customer Action Required
If you or a partner has built and are hosting an app for your use with Eloqua, please bring this to the attention of the appropriate marketing team member, and/or work directly with your IT Team to make the required changes. If you fail to do so, the inbound call from your app will fail as your firewall will block the new public IP Address.
