New wage per hour documents in CA

Is anyone implementing the new CA wage per hour document (labor code section 2810.5) in their new hire documents? Is it possible to tweak onboarding to only send this document to non-exempt CA new hires without create a new workflow? Our current process sends the same documents to all new hires and if we have any state specific docs to send, we send outside of onboarding. We don't want to do this with the wage per hour doc and we don't want to have a lot of different workflows. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
