Insight Report problems with filters and computed fields

Is anyone else having the following problems with Insight Reporting and found a solution?
- Filters - Select Groups: When enter specific groups to report, it is ignored. Selected the groups, made sure that 'all groups' was unchecked, and still shows all the groups.
- Customizing a report, trying to add a column, but don't know what expressions to enter. Supposedly by entering a bracket [ in the expression field, a list of the available expressions is shown, but I never see a list of the expressions.
- Also can't find any documentation that shows the expressions that can be used.
