Separate Career Section for Employee Referral Program (ERP)?

Has anyone created a separate career section strictly for their Employee Referral Program (ERP)?
Would like to hear best practices in this regard - our Internal Mobility/Application system has very specific parameters which do not support our vision for ERP. (Internal applicants can only view and apply for new reqs within 2 weeks of posting, while employee referrals are accepted for the duration of the requisition).
Any thoughts/ideas are greatly appreciated!
