How do people manage re-advertising with the same candidates applying?

If a candidate was unsuccessful in the first round of advertising, then the requisition was re-advertised, how would you manage that candidate if they re-applied - considering that their last status shows as unsuccessful?

Would you duplicate the requisition and re-advertised under a different job number, or is there a way of re-advertising using the same requisition so the candidate's status reverts back to 'to be screened' again?

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
