Batch completion & parent items

When you are doing a batch completion the only option is to do it for an item type equal to Course. You can then check/uncheck to update parent item status.

The on-line help at User Acounts > Completion Status states "If you set the status of a course to Complete, it does not set the class it belongs to Complete, even if the default roll-up rule is satisfied. The default roll rule for classes states that if all of its child activities (courses and sub classes) are completed, the class is completed. Otherwise, the class is incomplete."
