Last Modification Date vs Last Activity Date

Hi All,

Can someone explain the difference the Last Modification Date and the Last Activity Date?  The way I understand it is the last time the candidate's profile was updated excluding any CSW actions.  The Last Acticity Date is the same thing with the CSW Action.  The Last Acticity Date would typically be later than the Modificiation Date.

Which one is used for Job Posting Notifications?
