Sorting jobs by job code

Hi

We have been using TBE for about 6mths now. So have just knock up over 100 jobs - when we sort jobs by the job code, it seems to be sorting them based on the first digit. i.e.job code 40 would be above job code 140 becasue the 4 is higher than 1.

Is there a way to amend this??

Also, how do I set the default 'list sort'? On different page view are currently sorted by different lists. i.e. one page might be sorted by job code, while another is sorted by # of openings.

Hope I am making sense?
