Hiring manager notificaitons

We have a small population of hiring managers who wish to be very communicated with regarding the status of requisitions.

I am looking for suggestions – if it is possible - on how to set these hiring manager’s requisitions so that they receive notifications when a requisition is posted, when a requisition is expiring and any other status related to the requisition – so that they see that “things are happening” with their requisitions in Taleo.

At the same time I will not set these requisitions so that they receive notifications on applicants / ACE Candidate as I do not want them contacting the recruiter each time they receive these notifications to see if the recruiter has already spoken to the candidate.
