Reporting and Analytics moving extremely slow in IE8

Ever since we upgraded our browser to Internet Explorer 8, whenever I create a new report or modify one, it sits processing forever and neither times out, nor processes.  Most of the time I end up logging out of Taleo Reporting, closing the browser and re-opening it.  I usually have to do this multiple times before I get a report to fully process.  In all honesty it probably wastes a total of 3 hours of productivity every day for me.

Any suggestions?  At first glance I assumed it was my computer so I had IT come and check it out but I am maxed out on how much RAM I can have on my PC and there are no other programs running that would cause it to go slow.  This problem is solely when I'm running Taleo Reporting and Analytics.  This does not happen in the Admin or Staffing Webtop.
