Import Resumes - Date Change

Does anyone know if you can manually change the date a resume is imported into the Recruit system?  I am uploading resumes that we have prior to implementing Taleo for reporting/metrics purposes and I would like to have the date they are in the system reflect when they originally applied with your company.
