Linking a course to a page

Hello,

I've created a course in my LMS and I'm at the point of adding the link to the couse on the desired page.  Am I supposed to insert the link to the course at this point? 

I know I'm supposed to insert !ldcsessionid=! somewhere in the URL, so that other users can see the link (not just the admin), but I'm not sure what URL I'm supposed to be using as the course link did not work.
