Question: TBE Candidates and Default pages

1) Can multiple candidates be attached to a req at the same time?  Or does each candidate have to be individually attached?

2)  Is there a way to change the default page of a User Type?  Example; Right now, District Managers automatically go to the Dashboard when they log in.  We want them to go to a customized page we have created instead just for them, where all they can see is their own reqs and candidates.
