Onboarding Task assignment to Manager/ Supervisor

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a solution to assign an on-boarding Task to  Employee Manager and unable to find out a place holder for the same. Here is what I have Analyzed:

There is no and options to assign a task to person identified in a UDF.

There is no options to edit the name of the Hiring Managed in on-boarding who was carried from Taleo recruiting. Manager generally changes after the hiring.

There is no option to assign the task to employee manager stored in Smartorg.

It's not possible to manage a functional role for managers, generally manager could be at any locations or across organizations.
