Delay with Spell Check in Performance Review

Is anyone else experiencing a delay when using the spell check option in a review?  As hiring managers click the spell check option for each competency, they are experiencing a 1-2 minute delay before a response.  This is the first time there is that delay.  Any suggestions would be great.
