Anyone had success setting up a local network file share as a delivery destination for BIP?

Has anyone had success setting up a local network file share location as a delivery destination for BI Publisher?  I have tried several ways using FTP and HTTP and so far nothing has worked.  Does anyone have a success story??

 

FTP example

host: \\rtints14.rti.ns

port: 445

with valid login credentials
