Field information not correct when transferring info to excel

Hi,

I have created a report in OTBI where I have changed the field birthdate and employment start date to show only year in report.

In OTBI the information shows just perfect.

But when I extract the information to Excel, at that point the information is not extracting correctly. Both birth year field and employment start year field - information in those fields does not show correct data in Excel.

What setting do I need to change so that i can extract this information to Excel in correct way?
