R12 Phone missing from Public Information/"My Portrait"

The Phone details for associates is missing from their Public Information Portrait

We are gearing up to turn on profiles and we are struggling with how to configure the first tab called "Public Information" on the profile. For example, in the screenshot below the user has a Phone record in the system, but it's not displaying along with email. Is there a configuration page somewhere that allows us to define what shows/does not show on this first page? The other pages appear to be controlled by adding/removing items from contentn sections and content subscribers, but we can't find any such configuration for the first "Public Information" tab.
