The scenario that we have is that our recruiters often source candidates directly in the Job Board and in most cases, they just pick-up the phone and talk to the candidates to screen them. It is an efficient approach for a recruiter, however, it does not leave any trace of those recruiting activities in Taleo - often only a small fraction of the total candidate screened end up in Taleo, sometimes it is only the selected candidate whose application is created in the system before generating the offer.
