Updating Salary Basis from hourly to annual using HDL - help!

Updating Salary Basis from hourly to annual using HDL, does not change salary amount

Salaried employees were loaded with incorrect salary basis of Hourly, during conversion. We corrected the salary basis using HDL, however the hourly salary rate did not change to Annual salary rate automatically.

If we do the same change through the application (UI), the rate changes automatically.

Please let me know what is missing here.
