Are there timing issues when running hte EOY on Beg of Year processes?

In reading the year end guide, I see before the first payroll of the year, you need to run the begin of year process which is listed as the last step.  I believe this is independent of the end of year steps (archiving, etc.) and i just want to make sure that no one has run into any issues when running that process prior to reconciling the prior year and running the end of the year process.

This is our first year end on Fusion and any other tips, suggestions or warnings would be appreciated.
