Database seems slow (1/22/18 ... CHK)

Transactions take 4x or longer to complete (including stepping through reports)

I think the turtle has hitch hiked with a sloth.  Every transaction takes 4x or more longer ... a transaction includes selecting a user (entering the complete username) or selecting items for a search.  Anyone else having slowness?  We use the Chicago servers (specifically CHK)
