Fiscal Year HR Reporting

Needing to have reports such as a Turnover Report that is based on Fiscal Year vs Calendar Year

Does anyone have any experience or examples on how i could use the time objects in workforce trends subject area that would allow me to have the time based on FY instead of CY?  Our FY is October 1, so HR is wanting to have headcount and turnover reports based on 10/1 - 9/30 instead of 1/1 -12/31.  They are wanting to have both month and quarters based on our FY instead of CY.
