Department tree versions issue

Hi ,

Department tree having 2 versions , both are active , old version is end dated 31/12/2016 and new version is starts from 1/1/17.

In new version existing departments are removed from hierarchy and added new departments . Now currently some employees are belong to departments which are existed in old version but not in new version , so in the analysis for these employees the department levels(Level 1 Department etc) are  showing as blank . Event though the old version is active it is not fetching data from it I guess .
Is it possible to fetch the data from both(old and new)versions at same time in analysis , if so , how could this be done please ?
