OOTB TEE to HCM Failure

We are using the OOTB integration for TEE to HCM, the data is passed across to HCM into the correct fields however when clicking the Next button it removes the last name of the candidate on the first page and then proceeds to tell you that Last name is required.

If you re-enter the last name and click next, it removes it again.

If you enter a different last name it accepts the value and allows you to move to the next input page.

Has anyone ever seen this?
