Assignment Name is not populated with Job Name

We want the Assignment Name field on the Employment page to be populated with the employee's Job Name when an employee is hired or changes jobs.  However, I found 100+ cases when this is not happening.  I believe there is a way to update the Assignment Name field via HDL, but what should I do to ensure the Assignment Name is populated with  the Job Name automatically?
