How does the Job Posting Notification function work?

Hello,

Our organization has several Career Sections and the Job Posting Notification function is currently turned off for all.  We're considering to turn on the function and have the below questions:

• if the Job Posting Notification functionality can be turned on just for one Career Section?  Or does it have to be activated for the whole system?

• And when it’s activated, does it only notify for jobs posted on the career section used to sign up?  Or does it send notifications for all jobs postings meeting the criteria?
